Get Dirty, Feel Better!

There’s still space in the ‘Wellbeing through Volunteering’ program which started 9:30am Tuesday 15 October. Learn about improving your well-being through environmental volunteering in an exciting new program. Lunch and transport provided. Try tree planting, seagrass collection, weed control and fauna surveys as part of this exciting new program.

Getting out and about

Kangaroo Island’s National Parks and reserves are ablaze with flowers from the striking tetratheca to the delicate native violets. With a bit of care you’ll also find native orchids in a range of colours and sizes. Take nothing but photos and great memories of our fantastic flowers and be very careful of snakes as they’re out and about now. Don’t forget, observe them from a distance.

Playful pups

Seal Bay Conservation Park’s Australian Sea Lions are breeding and the pups are visible on the beach and learning to swim. The upgraded boardwalk helps enhance viewing access so now’s the time to take a trip out to this park.
