Amelia connects and wins
07 November 2013
Amelia Oates visited the Natural Resources Centre in October, completed a questionnaire and won first prize in the ‘Connect with us’ competition. The aim of the competition was to promote the upgraded Natural Resources Kangaroo Island website and the services provided from the Natural Resources Centre.
Amelia had a selection from four prizes and chose the free overnight accommodation at May’s Homestead in Flinders Chase National Park.
Amelia received her accommodation voucher from Regional Manager Bill Haddrill who thanked her for taking part in the promotion. Amelia said she hadn’t visited May’s Cottage for years and was looking forward to seeing its upgraded accommodation. Amelia and her husband planned to have a night ‘away from the kids’ and also hoped to check out the new Platypus Walk while they stayed at May’s Homestead.
Second prize went to Clive Colenso who selected a $20 voucher from the KI Native Plant nursery. Catherine Murphy won third prize, selecting a tour for two of Cape Borda light station and Peter Hastwell won fourth prize, a tour for two of Cape Willoughby light station.
Natural Resources Kangaroo Island thanks all the participants who visited the Natural Resources Centre or the website during the ‘Connect with us’ competition. Feel free to contact the Centre any time it is open.
