KI Native Plant Nursery reopens for winter

The Kangaroo Island Native Plant Nursery is open for business. Drop in and look over our extensive range of KI native plants available for your garden, to use as a windbreak, remediate a salty patch or improve a degraded patch of existing native vegetation. Whatever the need, we have suitable plants for you.

Nursery staff have been extremely busy during the last six months growing plants to fill orders. Now we have some free time to discuss your needs and help with problem spots in your garden or on your property. Our plants are grown from locally sourced seed and cuttings and have a high survival rate when planted in the appropriate environment.

For landholders with problem areas we can arrange to visit the site and advise how best to deal with existing issues or possibly prevent issues occurring in the first place.

For those of you who are not quite ready to plant this year you can order plants now for next year. We are happy to receive orders until the end of November for the following winter planting season.

Call in and visit the nursery, Tuesday mornings from 9am – 12.30pm or Thursdays 9am – 5pm. If you are not able to visit during opening hours please contact the Natural Resources Centre to arrange a mutually convenient time to visit.
