Fun at Flinders Chase

Looking for something different to do in the holidays? Why not visit Flinders Chase National Park where rangers are hosting fun and free summer activities for children and adults from 4-6 January 2016.

You can observe the park’s native animals in the wild, delight in the many wonders of the natural world and immerse yourself in Kangaroo Island’s adventurous past.

There are three different activities on offer:

  • a seal of distinction—explore Admirals Arch and learn more about its inhabitants and geology, 11 am-12 pm
  • ranger ‘n kids—unlock the secrets of the bush through some fun activities and games, 2 pm-3 pm
  • twilight walk—an exciting evening adventure seeking out the residents that prefer the twilight hours, 6 pm-8 pm.

While you’re in the park take the opportunity to explore some of its other new and upgraded features, like the Rocky River hike, Platypus Waterholes walk or the Shackle Road self-drive tour.

Don’t forget your hat, water, sunscreen, walking shoes, camera and binoculars.

Please note, if a total fire ban is declared, activities may be cancelled.
