PayDirt. Profitable Grazing System Training Package.

This 'PayDirt' Profitable Grazing Systems training package supports livestock producers to build skills and assists them to integrate new management practices into their farming system.

The PayDirt training presented by Felicity Turner will assist farm businesses within the Limestone Coast in:

  • Identifying your pastures most limiting constraints
  • Understanding what to consider when investing in fertiliser
  • Taking soil tests and interpreting results
  • Assessing current pasture composition
  • Improved decision making around inputs


  • Session 1. Tuesday, August 31 from 9am - 3pm
  • Session 2. Tuesday, September 21 from 9am to 3pm
  • Session 3. To be advised

  • $250 per farm business valued at over $1850 ( Up to 2 x individual participants)
  • Places are limited
  • The training program is available only to registered farming enterprises within the Limestone Coast, South Australia and registrations require a valid Property Identification Code (PIC).

Ticket Inclusions

  • 3 x Workshop Sessions
  • Up to 2.5 hours of one on one advisor support
  • 2 x FREE soil tests and support to interpret results of tests



The Presenter

Felicity Turner has over 20 years experience working across the south east region in the areas of crop and pasture agronomy. She has a passion for helping farmers achieve sustainable agricultural outcomes through improving their knowledge, skills and ability to implement activities on farm.

She is looking forward to working with farmers across the region on the PayDirt program to improve decision making on farm.

Profitable Grazing Systems is an initiative of Meat & Livestock Australia. 

This project is a partnership between the Limestone Coast Landscape Board and Meat & Livestock Australia
