Notice of low flying helicopter

News release
31 October 2022

The Limestone Coast Landscape Board wish to notify residents that we will be undertaking feral deer aerial monitoring from Thursday, November 24 to Thursday, December 1 2022 (weather permitting) in the following localities: Keilira, Taratap, Tilley Swamp, Petherick, Bunbury, Deepwater, Salt Creek, Martin Washpool, Gum Lagoon, and Hanson Scrub.

The low flying helicopter will focus on conservation parks and areas of native vegetation on private land. Pilots will endeavour to minimise disturbance to farm houses, working sheds, horse yards and areas containing livestock.

Further information can be found by contacting the Limestone Coast Landscape Board on 08 8429 7550.

*Please note the initial promoted dates in early November for the operation have been deferred due to weather constraints.
