Water projects

Water resources in the Limestone Coast are precious and need to be managed sustainably. This includes watercourses, lakes, dams, floodplains, groundwater, springs, wetlands, waterholes and catchment landscapes.

Our projects are focused on making sure the needs of the environment are balanced with the needs of the community. They deliver on the environmental targets set out in the regional landscape plan.

Through our water projects, managing water affective activities and water allocation plans, we are giving consideration to the environment, social and economic needs, and seeking to ensure long term sustainability and security of our water resource.
