Padthaway Stakeholder Consultation
Engagement on Key Concepts and Issues
The key concepts underpinning the proposed draft Padthaway WAP have been developed in consultation with the Padthaway Water Allocation Plan Stakeholder Advisory Group.
All feedback received will be reviewed in consultation with the Stakeholder Advisory Group. A draft WAP will then reviewed by the Board and once approved by the Minister, will be released for formal public consultation.
Stakeholder Advisory Group
The Padthaway Water Allocation Plan, Stakeholder Advisory Group (SAG) is the primary community reference for the Board for the review of the Plan.

Factsheets
A series of five factsheets have been developed by the Stakeholder Advisory Group further exploring the key concepts identified in the Padthaway WAP review so far.
These factsheets group the issues into five main themes;
- FS1 Padthaway WAP Licensing Instruments
- FS2 Padthaway WAP Classes of Water Access Entitlement
- FS3 Padthaway WAP Consumptive Pools
- FS4 Padthaway WAP Adaptive Management
- FS5 Padthaway WAP Trades and Transfer
These factsheets identify options to address each issue and potential next steps for the Stakeholder Advisory Group to consider when developing a preferred approach to each issue.
