Marne Saunders Water Forum

25 February 2022

The Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board is holding a Water Forum to present information to the community on the current status and trends of groundwater and surface water in the Marne Saunders Prescribed Water Resources Area.

Why: The latest Marne Saunders Water Resource Assessment indicates that surface water and groundwater resources are at their lowest on record (or on average) in the last 3-5 years. This forum is an opportunity to hear from water scientists on the latest data and trends, and learn about programs and investigations currently being done in the region. As part of the forum, we would like to hear your suggestions and feedback on what the Landscape Board can do to support the community to achieve the objectives of the Water Allocation Plan.

See the full event agenda including speakers and topics.

Who: The forum is free and open to all. Water licence holders and stock and domestic users in the Marne Saunders area may have a particular interest in attending the forum.

When: 12:30pm - 4pm, Friday 25 February 2022

Location: Cambrai Sportsground, Sportsground Road, Cambrai, SA 5353
