Term 2 Teacher Professional Development - Yookamurra Sanctuary

Learn about what Yookamurra has to offer you and your students as you experience some of the hands-on activities and feel inspired by the ecologists living and working in this very special part of our region.

Yookamurra Wildlife Sanctuary, near Swan Reach, protects over 5000 hectares of crucial habitat. A stronghold for threatened species including the numbat, the sanctuary is also home to important areas of old growth mallee.

Join fellow educators and Yookamurra ecologists to experience this magical place and to learn about hands-on science activities, facilities and opportunities for schools.
