Beginners guide to carbon farming

Are you curious about how carbon farming can revolutionise your agricultural practices and benefit your business?

The Northern and Yorke Landscape Board is hosting a series of free workshops to unlock the potential of carbon farming. We’ll provide the latest local information on this new buzz term and explain emissions reduction. Our next scheduled workshops are:

  • Wednesday, 30 October: Viticulture-focused workshop at The Barossa Cellar, Vine Vale, 9.30am-12pm, followed by lunch.
  • Tuesday, 5 November: Teacher-focused workshop in Blyth. Details to be confirmed.

  • Benefits for on-farm productivity: Explore how carbon farming can enhance your farm’s efficiency and output.
  • Generating carbon credits: Can you earn credits? And what to consider.
  • Carbon footprint: Learn what it is and why reducing it is critical.
  • Calculating emissions intensity: Get practical insights on measuring and managing your emissions.
