Rangelands discounted pest control product offer

Save 50% on pest animal control products

From 1 March to 30 April 2025, the Northern and Yorke Landscape Board is offering a 50% discount on all pest animal control products in the Rangelands district.

Due to ongoing dry conditions, this offer aims to make pest animal control more cost effective and achievable for a wider range of landholders in the Rangelands district and better reduce pest animal pressure caused by foxes, rabbits and wild dogs.

This offer applies to landholders in the following councils:

Port Pirie Regional Council
Regional Council of Goyder
District Council of Orroroo Carrieton
District Council of Peterborough
District Council of Mt Remarkable
Northern Areas Council

This one-time offer is funded by the Northern and Yorke Landscape Board.

Purchase of discounted products can be arranged on any weekday from 1 March to 30 April, 2025.

Sale of discounted pest control products will be subject to landholders meeting the necessary requirements to control pests on their land. This will be determined by a Rangelands landscape officer prior to sale.

Landholders who own property in the Rangelands district but do not reside there are eligible to purchase discounted bait products for use on that land.

Please note:

EFTPOS is the only accepted payment method.
Purchasing must be arranged through Rangelands landscape officers at Burra and Orroroo.
Discounted bait products can only be used in the Rangelands district.

Distribution days:

Fox bait distribution days are planned for the first week of March 2025 in the following locations:

3 March | Crystal Brook, Napperby, Mambray Creek
4 March | Peterborough, Jamestown, Laura
5 March | Orroroo, Booleroo Centre, Wilmington
6 March | Hallett, Robertstown
