SA Arid Lands Pastoral Field Day

The SA Arid Lands Landscape Board is hosting its second region-wide Pastoral Field Day at the Port Augusta Racecourse on Thursday 20 March 2025, with a focus on drought preparedness in a way that is both informative and relevant.

The field day is being held for pastoral property owners, managers and staff across the SA Arid Lands region and is also open to anyone who works with pastoral businesses or has an interest in the pastoral region.

This year's event will have a real field day feel, and you will be able to choose what you want to do throughout the day - and there's plenty to select from.

• Wander through and chat to the more than 60 stall holders who will be on site all day;
• Listen to the line-up of informative presenters talking about a range of pastoral and animal health related topics;
• Hear from a panel that includes the Pastoral Board, SAAL and Livestock SA;
• Enjoy a bite to eat from a number of food vans and a bbq;
• Activities to keep children busy throughout the day.
