A Carbon Farming Forum held in Port Augusta in February 2021 showed an increasing interest in the practice.
The forum provided an introduction to Carbon Farming in the Rangelands, an explanation of regulations and highly informative Questions and Answer from a Panel of experts from private industry and Government.
As recordings from the event become available, we will provide links to ensure those with interest who were unable to attend can still benefit.
A call for a greater uptake came from Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development David Basham. You can read more in the MEDIA RELEASE

CARBON FARMING AND NATIVE TITLE
SA Arid Lands Landscape Board developed a guide in 2015 for SA pastoralists negotiating consent with Native Title Holders in regards to Carbon Farming. Landholders may find many of the topics within this still relevant.
