Landscapes

The Alinytjara Wilurara region region is divided into nine landscapes, each with distinct characteristics.

Our communities

Approximately 2000 people live in our region, largely of Pitjantjatjara, Yankunytjatjara and Ngaanyatjarra descent.

Passes and permits

Agreements between traditional owners and the government determine how the land is accessed and used.

Visitor safety

Stay safe while visiting the Alinytjara Wilurara region. Your safety is our concern but your responsibility.
