Managing Practice Change in Agriculture Grants now open

Applications are now open for funding of up to $4000 in the 2016-17 round of the Managing Sustainable Practice Change in Agriculture Grants. Applications are now open for funding of up to $4000 in the 2016-17 round of the Managing Sustainable Practice Change in Agriculture Grants.

Presiding Member of the Eyre Peninsula Natural Resources Management Board Diana Laube said the grants were open to agriculture and farming systems groups based on Eyre Peninsula.

“The board continues to work with agricultural industry groups and organisations to deliver regional outcomes that include farming practice change across Eyre Peninsula,” Ms Laube said.

“In this round of grants there is a strong focus on implementing practice change to manage natural resources sustainably, and apply and adapt new technologies to improve current practices.

“Even small grants can go a long way in developing farming systems that deliver improved environmental, economic and social outcomes.”

The grants are funded through the Australian Government’s National Landcare Programme.
