Expression of Interest - Free on-farm water security health check
Understanding your farm’s water needs isn’t just good practice, it’s essential for long-term success. Whether you're expanding infrastructure, diversifying enterprises, or adapting to climate variability, knowing how much water you need and where it's going helps you make confident, cost-effective decisions to improve water efficiency. A win for your farm enterprise, the environment and the regional water resource.
Whether you're dryland farming, irrigating, or managing livestock, a water security health check gives you the insights to optimise your system and build adaptability for the seasons ahead.
By completing the Expression of Interest form below, we may be able to help with a free water security health check, where an independent advisor visits your property to assess current water available, and to get a broad understanding of the total property water requirements both now and into the future. Findings will then be presented to you in a Water Security Health Check report.
This estimate of water requirements can be used to support property water planning, including:
- broad understanding of total property water requirements
- evaluating the reliability of water sources to match water requirements and understanding any supply limitations
- planning for current and future water requirements to match specific production goals
- monitoring water use for possible improvements in efficiencies and identifying a surplus or shortfall in water.
By completing the form, you understand that:
- Submitting an Expression of Interest is no guarantee of receiving a Free On-Farm Water Security Health Check and applications will be assessed on their merit.
- I may be asked to share my experience via a case study and/or hosting a field day at my farm.
