Stewardship in Action workshop series

Landscapes Hills and Fleurieu is delivering the Stewardship in Action workshop series to help primary producers and small landholders take action, plan ahead, and future-proof their farms.

Through tailored sessions, participants will develop an action plan to manage and enhance natural assets such as watercourses, native vegetation, and soils. This not only boosts climate resilience and farm productivity, but also connects people who are navigating similar challenges. A property action plan is also a critical step for land managers looking to apply for grants (including Grassroots Grants) or seek co-investment.

By attending the sessions most relevant to their property, participants will gradually build a comprehensive plan over several workshops. The series is designed for all land managers - from broadacre producers to smaller lifestyle block owners - with valuable tools and insights for everyone.

These practical, hands-on workshops highlight why natural asset management matters and offer support to tackle real on-farm challenges. Each session focuses on key areas such as emissions reduction, weed control, soil health, and revegetation.

Whether you’re just starting out or ready to refine your farm plan, this series will inspire, educate, and empower you to care for your land - and your future!
