Expression of Interest - Host an Optiweigh unit

Improving data on stock weight not only helps productivity, but it also helps to make timely decisions to reduce on farm emissions.  

Landscapes Hills and Fleurieu has purchased two Optiweigh units – one for sheep and one for cattle as part of the Climate Smart Agriculture Program.  Between July 2025 and June 2028, the Optiweigh units will travel the region - hosted and trialed on various farms.

Expressions of Interest to host an Optiweigh unit have now closed.

We will be holding demonstration days and preparing case studies in 2026.
