Landscapes Hills and Fleurieu is offering a number of free opportunities to landholders seeking to improve landscape health and farm profitability.

Free soil tests

Landscapes Hills and Fleurieu is offering free soil tests to farmers in the region and is calling for expressions of interest. Participating farmers will have the option to have a free lab test, biology test and/or soil test kit for their property. Maximum 4 tests per farming property.

To express your interest, complete the EOI form here.

Free emissions profiles

Participating farmers will receive a comprehensive emissions report and have a head start on understanding and managing their farm’s emissions. Interested commercial farmers are encouraged to apply. Your farm must be in the Hills and Fleurieu region.

To sign up, complete the EOI form here.

Free on-farm water security check

Understanding your farm’s water needs isn’t just good practice, it’s essential for long-term success. By completing the Expression of Interest form, we may be able to help with a free water security health check, where an independent advisor visits your property to assess current water available, and to get a broad understanding of the total property water requirements both now and into the future.

Feral Deer Eradication Program

Are feral deer or goats impacting your property? Concerned about their effect on our landscape?

Register your interest in our coordinated feral deer control program here

African Lovegrass Control Program

Do you have African lovegrass on your property?

This tussock-forming and summer active grass generates thousands of seeds each year meaning it can quickly spread to take over large areas, contaminating produce and reducing the productivity of land.
