Wanna Grazing Trial

Wanna Grazing Trial

Large numbers of introduced (e.g. rabbits) and over abundant native herbivore species (e.g. kangaroos) can have a dramatic effect on the landscape. At this Pix Stix site we are tracking how this area can recover when grazing pressure has been reduced. The site has a series of fence exclosures (where herbivores are not able to graze) which allow us to monitor different levels of grazing pressure. Native trees and shrubs have also been planted.
