Funding is limited and will be allocated based on project outcomes.

Eligible projects include:

Fencing

  • to protect creek lines, riparian vegetation and revegetation from livestock grazing and trampling.

Revegetation

  • planting native trees and shrubs to repair riparian habitats, stabilise streambank erosion, reduce rising salinity, increase waterway connectivity & restore KI Narrow-leaved Mallee Woodland.

Watercourse management

  • installing stock and/or vehicle crossings to minimise in-stream nutrient input, sedimentation and prevent streambank erosion.
  • relocating stock watering points away from watercourses.
