Senior Sustainable Land Management Officer - Applications close 11pm on Wednesday 29 May

If you have an interest in sustainable land management and are keen to oversee the day to day management, reporting and review of the SA Arid Lands Landscape Board’s Building Pastoral Sustainability project, this job may interest you.

We’re looking for a Senior Sustainable Land Management Officer to provide strategic oversight and policy support to existing regional resources. You will work with industry and the pastoral community to identify and develop new tools and resources that facilitate sustainable land management practices and increase the capacity of production systems to adapt to significant changes in climate and market demands.

You will lead a small team to achieve these outcomes and will need to keep abreast of new and emerging trends, opportunities and technologies that include carbon, stewardship and nature positive initiatives.

Rangelands Goat Management Coordinator - Applications close 11pm on Wednesday 29 May

Are you a strategic thinker who can achieve results in the management of Rangeland Goats?

This new position will be responsible for leading the planning and delivery of projects aimed at reducing the significant threats posed by unmanaged rangelands goats to build resilient ecosystems across regional South Australia.

As the Rangelands Goat Management Coordinator, you will develop, implement and lead cross-regional collaboration, and develop and maintain partnerships and relationships between Landscape boards, industry and other sectors, including State and Commonwealth government agencies

You will explore alternative interventions and control methodologies to support landholders in achieving sustainable and cost-effective goat management practices and will identify and develop funding proposals and implement effective communication strategies and plans working alongside the Rangelands Goat Management Steering Committee and project partners.
