Field Day farewelled until 2021

Posted 27 November 2020.

The recent COVID-19 restrictions meant the SA Arid Lands Landscape Board had to postpone its Pastoral Field Day for a second time, but it has locked in 2-3 December 2021 as the date for the event.

A summer series of webinars featuring presenters will also start from next week. School of the Air students will also still enjoy online presentations by Animals Anonymous and Bugs’n’Slugs when they are in town this Friday, 4 December.

The Board and its staff would really like to thank all of the presenters, partners, exhibitors and members of the pastoral community for their support of the event, which was shaping up to be exceptional.

The board also wishes to acknowledge its funding partners, the Outback Communities Authority, through the Australian Government’s Drought Communities Program, and the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program.

The event will return even bigger in December 2021, hopefully in a post-COVID world.

To keep up with which speakers will be presenting in our summer series, keep an eye on our Events page or follow us on Facebook.
