The Dieri Aboriginal Corporation, Kokatha Aboriginal Corporation, Yandruwandha Yawarrawarrka Traditional Land Owners Aboriginal Corporation, De Rose Hill Aboriginal Corporation and Tjayiwara Unmuru Aboriginal Corporation, and Yankunytjatjara Native Title Aboriginal Corporation will each receive funding to support the development of plans for Healthy Country. Arabana Aboriginal Corporation will review its former plan and update it to include the work of its Ranger program.

All First Nations groups will provide additional funding and significant in-kind support to deliver the plans.

Healthy Country Plans guide First Nations organisations towards pathways to build capacity in environmental and land management outcomes, such as people working on Country, Ranger programs and cultural and environmental activities on country.

The grant program was an initiative raised by the board’s Aboriginal Engagement Network and all plans are expected to be completed by December 2025.
