Board's five year plan

Posted 27 November 2020.

The SA Arid Lands Landscape Board is currently developing its five-year Landscape Plan, which will guide investment in managing the region’s landscapes, and is a requirement of the new Landscape South Australia Act 2019.

Two planning workshops were recently held with Landscape Group (formerly NRM group) members and stakeholders from the new Port Augusta – Quorn district. The Board heard from community representatives about their interests, concerns and priorities in relation to landscape management. The Board will also use the information it has previously heard from community to develop a draft plan and will be seeking feedback on the draft Landscape Plan and the Board’s Business Plan for 21/22 in early 2021.

If you have ideas or feedback on the work of the Board, please get in touch with your district Community Landscape Officer or email saal.landscapeboard@sa.gov.au.
