Regional Landscape Plan - Have your say

Consultation now closed

Thank you to everyone who shared feedback on the draft Regional Landscape Plan 2026–2031. Submissions have now closed, and we're working through what we heard.

What is the Landscape Plan?

The Landscape Plan sets the strategic direction for the Board's work over the next five years. It outlines our shared vision, priorities, and focus areas to guide investment, partnerships and on-ground programs across the Northern and Yorke region.

Our vision is a resilient and thriving region, where communities work together to care for land, biodiversity, water and coasts.

The draft Plan has been shaped by stakeholder workshops, community and land management surveys, and a review of current scientific data and evidence. It acknowledges the challenges ahead — from climate change to growing urban and renewable energy development — and seeks to balance environmental, social and economic needs.

Thank you for having your say

Public consultation on the draft Plan ran until Friday 8 May 2026. We heard from community members, landholders, partners and stakeholders right across the region, and we're grateful for the time and care that went into every submission.

The people who live, work and care for this land know it best, and local insight is what will make the final Plan practical, relevant and grounded.

What happens next

The Board is now reviewing all submissions and considering how feedback will shape the final Regional Landscape Plan 2026–2031. The finalised Plan will be released later this year.
