Regional Landscape Plan - Have your say

Regional Landscape Plan - Have your say

The Northern and Yorke Landscape Board is seeking your feedback on the draft Regional Landscape Plan 2026–2031 — a five-year plan that will shape how we care for the land, water, biodiversity and coasts of our region.

What is the Landscape Plan?

The Landscape Plan sets the strategic direction for the Board's work over the next five years. It outlines our shared vision, priorities, and focus areas to guide investment, partnerships and on-ground programs across the Northern and Yorke region.

Our vision is a resilient and thriving region, where communities work together to care for land, biodiversity, water and coasts.

The draft Plan has been shaped by stakeholder workshops, community and land management surveys, and a review of current scientific data and evidence. It acknowledges the challenges ahead — from climate change to growing urban and renewable energy development — and seeks to balance environmental, social and economic needs.

Why your feedback matters

The people who live, work and care for this land know it best. Community input is essential to ensuring the final Plan is practical, relevant, and grounded in local knowledge.
