Rewilding prospectus launch: Marna Bangarra

Event
25 June 2026 until 25 June 2026
Rewilding prospectus launch: Marna Bangarra

We invite you to the launch of a nationally significant, nature‑positive rewilding initiative delivering measurable environmental, economic and social returns in regional South Australia.

Marna Banggara is a proven, landscape‑scale rewilding initiative operating across the southern Yorke Peninsula. Delivered in partnership with Traditional Owners, local landholders, government and conservation organisations, the project is restoring biodiversity while strengthening regional resilience, productivity and community connection.

The event is a great way to get a snapshot of this landmark project, and network with the initiatives many partners and prospective collaborators. It demonstrates how investment in nature can function as essential infrastructure - underpinning healthy ecosystems, resilient industries and prosperous communities.

This event will bring together leaders from government, industry, finance, conservation and the community to explore how partnership in Marna Banggara can deliver:

✅️ Measurable biodiversity recovery
✅️ Reduced environmental and agricultural risk
✅️ Strong governance and transparent reporting
✅️ Tangible social and regional economic benefits

Following its highly successful landscape-scale pilot, the Marna Banggara team have developed a Prospectus which will be officially launched by the Hon Emily Bourke MLC, Minister for Environment, Climate and Water.

Our partnerships team will be on hand to talk about how joining the collaboration might meet your needs, and if there are any shovel‑ready, investable projects you might be interested in partnering on, to deliver credible, on‑ground ESG outcomes for your organisation.

The Marna Banggara initiative, named after the First Nations name for this area, is hosted by the Northern and Yorke Landscape Board and supported by a large and growing number of collaborators. There are a wide range of ways to partner with the initiative, and growing the collaboration is essential to grow the reach and impact of this unique landscape-scale approach to protect land, water and nature.
