Cultural educator sessions

Cultural educator sessions

As a part of the Nature Education program, schools are invited to book Cultural Educator Sessions provided by Ngadjuri, Nukunu, Kaurna and Narungga cultural presenters. The aim of these sessions is to link regional schools with their cultural educators, to support cultural awareness building for children and the connection of First Nations knowledge with environmental stewardship.

The program is available to schools in the Northern and Yorke region. The Northern and Yorke Landscape Board will provide funding support of up to 50% of the total cost of the Cultural Educator service (up to $3,000 per school). The school is liable to pay for the remaining 50% of costs. A copy of the cultural educator quote showing the total cost is a mandatory requirement.
