Small to medium scale farm waste composting
Join us for a practical, hands-on workshop exploring small to medium scale composting of farm waste and learn how composting can improve soil health, reduce waste, and enhance on-farm sustainability.
The workshop will be presented by Gerry Gillespie OAM, a nationally recognised leader in the Australian organics recycling industry. Gerry has played a significant role in advancing composting and organics recycling across Australia and was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his service to environmental sustainability, particularly through the development and promotion of organics processing and composting practices.
The event is free to attend and includes morning tea and lunch. *Please note that gluten-free and vegetarian are the only additional dietary options available.
Please bring a chair, a bottle of water and a hat if the weather is hot for the seated session. Register before 30 November.
