Managing pests

Pest animals and plants can pose significant threats to agriculture, the natural environment and public health and safety in the Murraylands and Riverland region. The Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board works closely with land managers to find ways of reducing the number of pests, help restore native biodiversity and reduce losses in the agricultural industry.

The Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board has implemented a pest management program to assist land managers identify and manage the pest plants and pest animals they may encounter on their properties.
