Sustainable farming

The Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board manages a range of sustainable farming projects addressing regional challenges.

We actively seek new partnerships and work closely with industry groups, agribusinesses and farmers to identify opportunities to improve profitable primary production and demonstrate new research and innovative land management techniques.

Sustainable farming projects in the region are developed collaboratively, focusing on sustainable use, to protect our natural resources for future generations.

Details of some new projects are coming soon!

Regional Agriculture Landcare Facilitator

Our projects align with the state’s strategic objectives and economic priorities while achieving the aims of the Regional Natural Resources Management Plan developed by the former SAMDB NRM Board in consultation with the community.

Sustainable farming programs and projects in the Murraylands and Riverland region are made possible by the levies collected by the Board, funding from the state and Federal governments, and through the support of community and industry partnerships.
