Discounted Bait Available to Support Landholders With Controlling Foxes
Landholders in the Murraylands region have an opportunity to support pest control efforts during February 2025 by accessing discounted fox baits.
The program, coordinated by the Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board, aims to assist landholders in managing fox populations effectively and affordably.
Landscape board Murraylands District Team Leader, Casey Henderson, said that managing the impact of foxes on the local landscape is most successful when neighbouring properties work together.
"By working together, we can achieve a significant reduction in fox numbers and their impact across the region." she said.
"We encourage landholders to take advantage of this opportunity and coordinate baiting with their neighbours" added Casey. "Collective action is key to maximising the program’s effectiveness and long-term benefits."
The discounted baits will be available for purchase throughout February 2025.
Landholders are encouraged to register online, or by contacting the Murray Bridge office on 8582 9100.
